DOT Program
Introduction:
CSU's Department of Transportation Program is a division within Environmental Health Services (EHS) and is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and individual state regulatory agencies where DOT regulated CSU drivers operate commercial motor vehicles. Our goal is to support the welfare of the CSU community and the public by adhering to these regulations and industry best practices which help to reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities involving large trucks and buses. The program provides guidance and training related to CMV driver requirements, drug and alcohol use and testing, and safe driving expectations.
